lyrics
Step by step, get closer to their camp.
In the night we don’t make no sound.
Walk in line, the shadow’s on our side,
We just have to bring back the young.
For we have to sacrifice,
To feed on the demon.
For the more we come to give,
The longer the demon will let us live.
We are wolves,
We hunt like wolves,
Steal like wolves.
When they sleep,
They cannot see
Wolves.
We are wolves.
We hunt like wolves.
Hide like wolves.
Pray like fools,
We came to be.
In the tents, get where the children lay,
Little preys that sleep on the ground.
Fill their mouths, using some compact clay,
Little lambs cannot make no sound.
Pulled by hair, muted by the fear (and clay),
Don’t know what’s going around.
No escape, the end is near,
To their loss they are bound.
Tonight we are wolves.
Tonight we are wolves
We’re the sandmen coming,
Unpredictable.
When the darkness is falling,
We are wolves.
Children for the slaying,
Unquestionable.
When we’re celebrating,
We are wolves.
We are wolves,
We hunt like wolves,
Steal like wolves.
When they sleep,
They cannot see
Wolves.
We are wolves.
We hunt like wolves.
Hide like wolves.
Pray like fools,
We came to be.
Step by step, get away from their camp,
In the night we don’t make no sound
Run in line, for before the sunrise,
We will have to bring back the young.
For we have to sacrifice,
To feed on the demon.
For the more we come to give,
The longer the demon will let us live.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
On their new album, the combined acts look outside the narrow spectrum of metal and draw upon reggaeton, jungle, and free jazz for inspiration. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 15, 2017
